Meet Richard Singo
The Founder and Chief Explorer of Pundamilia Traverse — a mountain specialist and natural leader shaped by the rugged beauty of the Pare Mountains in northeastern Tanzania. Raised among the ancient Eastern Arc ranges, Richard developed an intuitive connection with nature, terrain, and traditional land stewardship. His upbringing in a mountain-dwelling community gave him instinctive navigation skills, deep forest knowledge, and a natural understanding of altitude and weather — qualities that make him a trusted expert on Kilimanjaro and beyond. Today, Richard combines his local heritage, passion for conservation, and years of guiding experience to lead meaningful, safe, and inspiring adventures across Tanzania.
