3-Day Lake Natron & Ol Doinyo Lengai Adventure – Itinerary

Day 0:

Arrival

The group lands at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), where a representative from Pundamilia Traverse & Escapade will welcome them. Following this introduction, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha town.

Once you have checked in, your driver guide will provide you with a briefing about the following day and ensure you are prepared for it.

Day 1:

Drive to Lake Natron & Visit Ngaresero Waterfalls

Depart from Arusha or Mto wa Mbu and drive through dramatic volcanic landscapes of Lake Natron. After checking in, start your adventure with a guided hike to the stunning Ngaresero Waterfalls. Walk through narrow volcanic gorges, cool off in natural pools, and enjoy the refreshing oasis hidden within the Rift Valley. This scenic waterfall trek is the perfect warm-up before your Ol Doinyo Lengai climb, combining breathtaking landscapes, Maasai territory, and pure natural beauty.
