Pick the Lemosho Trek That Fits You

There are 6-, 7-, and 8-day Lemosho itineraries, each designed for different experience levels:

  • 6-Day Itinerary: Best suited for highly experienced and pre-acclimatized climbers. It skips two camps and offers limited time for altitude adjustment.

  • 7-Day Itinerary: Our most popular choice — ideal for trekkers with moderate experience. It provides an excellent balance of challenge, scenery, and acclimatization.

  • 8-Day Itinerary: Perfect for beginners or anyone new to high-altitude trekking. The extra day improves acclimatization, comfort, and overall summit success.

We do not recommend or display the 6-day option as it has a lower success rate and limited acclimatization. If you prefer a shorter trek, the Machame 6-Day Route is a better alternative — unless you’re already well-acclimatized and experienced at altitude.
