3-Day Arusha, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Safari Adventure

Day 0: Arrival

The group lands at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), where a representative from Pundamilia Traverse & Escapade welcomes them. Following the introductions, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha town.

Once you have checked in, your driver guide will provide you with a briefing about the following day and ensure you are prepared for what lies ahead.

Time From JRO to Arusha: 1 hour

Game drive: 0 hours

Day 1: Arusha National Park

After breakfast in the morning, at approximately 8:00 AM, your safari guide will come to the hotel and notify the receptionist of his presence. Once you've connected with your driver, you'll head to Arusha National Park, and by 9:00 AM, you'll be embarking on your first safari!

Once you complete the registration at the gate with your guide, you'll embark on a 1.5-hour trek to Tululusia waterfall, passing through the habitat of wild animals like buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and monkeys. After resting by the waterfall, you'll return to the car and proceed with a game drive around the national park.

Following lunch in a designated area, you will proceed with the game drive and, later in the evening, will be accommodated at the lodge in Arusha town.

Time From Arusha Town to Arusha Np: 1 hour

Game drive: 4 to6 hours & 1.5 hour of Nature Walk

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

In this park, you have the opportunity to observe numerous wild Tanzanian animals, such as lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and zebras. However, it is particularly renowned for its remarkable population of elephants, which usually remain near their water source, the Tarangire River.

Please note that this is untamed nature, so the guide cannot assure the sighting of specific wild animals. However, he will make every effort to locate everything you wish to see! Lunch will be provided, and then the safari will proceed. In the evening, you will be taken to your accommodation in the Karatu area.

Time From Arusha to Tarangire: 2.5 hours

Game drive: 5 to 9 hours

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

It is advisable to depart from the hotel early on this day to observe the diverse animals that are active only in the morning. At 6:30 AM, you will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and within approximately an hour and a half, you will be inside the crater.

Ngorongoro stands out as one of Tanzania's most renowned and captivating national parks, boasting the highest concentration of diverse animal species per square kilometre. Visitors can encounter buffalo, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippopotamuses, and feline species like caracals and servals. Those fortunate enough might even spot a rhinoceros, a species facing a significant decline in population.

By noon, you'll reach the lakeside, where lunchboxes will be provided to you, and then the safari will proceed.

In the evening, you will be taken back to the hotel in Arusha.

Rest in the hotel and transfer to the airport.

Note: Hotel check-out is at 10:00 AM. In case you need a late check-out because of an evening flight, you have the option to extend your hotel stay till 6:00 PM for an extra fee.
